About the Photographer JEFFREY CLOUTIER

American photographic artist Jeffrey Cloutier is best known for his portraiture work and photographic art books. His most recent book APOTHEOSIS highlights a study of contrasting motifs and form. In addition to publishing, Jeffrey also provides his imagery for a broad range of commercial clients.

Raye’s Gallery at Ruxton Creek will exhibit Apotheosis a collection of fine art photography created by artist Jeffrey Cloutier. The exhibit features many of the works in Jeffrey’s latest book.

Apotheosis is aptly named as it reflects the peak or climax in Jeffrey’s eminently distinctive and collectible work. His diptychs capture artistic portraits of female figures, in the tradition of the masters, and offsetting forms.

“Through the reduction of our greater perception of reality we reach a culmination of human archetype. Chipping away, revealing reoccurring visual content.”
